| Previous Visitors' Comments | Well situated for the main attractions of the Lake District-
the countryside around the cottage was very good - large country house and grounds -one day we were visiting a local farm shop, while walking down the lane we found we were being followed by 136 cows walking in an orderly manner to be milked at the farm - you dont see that every day -weather good -used buses on a number of occasions to get to Windermere, etc-found a local pub, The Strickland Arms -fantastic meal 3/4 mile from the Coachman's Cottage-certainly consider staying there again
